Farmers Markets in Portland, OR

The Portland Farmers Market runs lively farmer's markets that help local food growers and producers succeed, boost the food economy, and create spaces where the community can come together: 

Opening on June 1 and running until December 14, the South Waterfront Market is a Sunday market that welcomes visitors from 2 pm to 7 pm. South Waterfront Farmers Market is a neighborhood market with the aim to make connections between farmers and urban community members in a dynamic and lively market setting, educating and encouraging residents and employees of the South Waterfront district to eat fresh, local, seasonal, and ethical food.  

Starting May 20 and continuing until October 7, the Modern Living Kitchen team will be there every other weekend. The Farmers Market operates on Sundays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Lake Oswego Farmers' Market (LOFM) was created to establish operations of a seasonal, open-air market at Millennium Plaza Park in downtown Lake Oswego. It offers an array of farm-fresh products, including organic produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and even locally crafted beverages. This market provides a delightful atmosphere where shoppers can browse and connect with local farmers and vendors, enhance the downtown business community, and provide an informal social gathering place in an open-air setting.   

The Rocky Butte Farmers Market in NE Portland offers affordable, locally grown foods and artisan products from June to September on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. They support beginning vendors and foster community connections. 

The Hillsdale Farmers' Market is a year-round market in Portland, Oregon. It hosts over 50 local farmers and food artisans from Oregon and Southwest Washington. They offer a variety of seasonal produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and more. The market operates every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and during the winter, it runs bi-weekly on specific dates. It is located at Rieke Elementary with nearby bus stops and parking options available. 

The Montavilla Farmers Market takes place on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Montavilla Farmers Market began in 2007 when a group of visionary community members banded together to bring fresh, local food to our vibrant Montavilla neighborhood. What started with an 11-week season with 17 vendors has grown into a year-round market with over 40 vendor stalls. This lively market is a community gathering place to support local business and have access to fresh, local food.
